Phenolic wheels are a great alternative to steel wheel.  Phenolic wheels give you similar capacities to steel wheels, however they provide better floor protection, slightly quierter rolling, do not rust, & are more economically priced.

Phenolic wheels are made using phenolic resin mixed with macerated canvas which yields a high capacity and high impact wheel. They have hard treads & will not flat spot over time which is why they are often used on equipment that is under constant heavy loads, such as storage bins, dumpsters, and BBQ Pits. Phenolic wheels are resistant to oil, grease, solvents, non-metallic, & non-sparking.
